      Add Details to Your Project, Floors, Rooms, and Objects

      Add and edit the details of various elements of your floor plan including object dimensions, ceiling heights, and more!

      Create a more comprehensive project by adding details to specific sections within your floor plan. You can add details to projects, floors, rooms, walls, and objects. Find the "Details" section by tapping the "i" icon next to the name of the specific element you want to add information to.

      Read an overview of the "Details" section at each level of your project below: 

      Project Level: 

      Specific information that can be edited at this level:

      Address, Author, Project Date, Floor Plan Living Area Calculation 

      Overview of the Details Section:

      1. Statistics: Access your project’s statistics by clicking “See All”.
      2. General: add a project name, address, author, and creation date.
      3. Living Area Calculation: Access and edit your living area calculation for your entire floor plan

      Add Details to Your Project (project)

      Floor Level: 

      Specific information that can be edited at this level:

      Ceiling Height and Interior / Exterior Wall Thickness

      Overview of the Details Section:

      1. Statistics: Access your project’s statistics by clicking “See All”.
      2. Measures: Adjust the ceiling height and the thickness of interior/exterior walls 

      Add Details to Your Project (floor)

      Room Level: 

      Specific information that can be edited at this level:

      Ceiling Height, Room Living Area Calculation, Floor the room appears on, and Room Type / Name / Color

      Overview of the Details Section:

      1. Statistics: Access your project’s statistics by clicking “See All”.
      2. Measures: Adjust the ceiling height and the living area for that specific room
      3. General: Change the floor this room appears on, room type, name, and color 

      Add Details to Your Project (room)

      Wall Level: 

      Specific information that can be edited at this level:

      Length, Display in Elevation Report, Indicate Low Bearing wall

      Overview of the Details Section:
      1. Measures: Adjust the length of the wall
      2. Settings: Choose to display the elevation view in your report and indicate that the wall is a low-bearing wall

      Object Level:

      Specific information that can be edited at this level:

      Dimensions, Price, Display Label, and Specific Object Attributes

      ℹ️ Note: Each object can have a different details section depending on the type of object. 

      Overview of the Details Section:

      1. Dimensions: Adjust the dimensions of a single object or groups of objects
        1. Turn on the "Include in PDF" option to include the object's dimensions in your PDF exports. When you turn this feature on a yellow annotation bubble will appear on the object indicating that information is attached.
      2. General: Set the price of the object for estimates
      3. Settings: Add or adjust the display label for the object
