This article explains how accounts will be affected by our new subscription plans and why we introduced them.

What has changed?

In June 2020, we introduced three new subscription plans. These plans will be available for purchase in the Cloud and App (version 9 and up).

What are the new subscription plans?

All subscription plans include unlimited projects as well as access to Workspaces and Teams.

Sketch

Create and share professional interior plans in 2D and 3D.

Report

Create structured reports including photos, notes, markups & more.

Estimate

Automatically calculate pricing for quick, accurate estimates.

Why did you introduce these new plans?

We introduced our new subscription plans in June 2020, so they better fit how customers are using magicplan.

All plans provide access to unlimited projects with the features to meet your needs.

You have the choice between a comprehensive sketching, reporting, or estimating solution. On top of that, Workspaces and Teams offer collaboration features to all three plans at no additional cost.

What does that mean for me?

If you are an existing magicplan user with an active subscription, you have nothing to worry about. Your subscription will convert to a subscription of the new options that we offer. Previously Standard users will have access to the Report subscription options, and Business users will get an Estimate subscription.

In this way, we make sure that you can still use all the magicplan features to which you had access before and you can keep working on your projects.

I want to switch to a new subscription plan. How can I do that?

If you wish to switch to a new subscription plan on your own, you first have to cancel your existing subscription. Once you have done so, you can visit our Pricing Page to find out more about our new pricing options and select the one that best fits your needs. You can then purchase your new subscription through the Buy page either in the magicplan app or the magicplan Cloud.

I want to add more members to my current "Business" subscription. How can I do that?

You can invite a new member to your workspace through the magicplan Cloud.

Once you have done so, you will be asked to pay for their license so that they can start using magicplan. Find out more about Workspaces and seats here.

I recently cancelled my subscription due to the Corona pandemic, but I would like to get back on board with magicplan. Can you help me?
