Transform magicplan into the most cost-effective tool to create virtual tours.
A virtual tour created with magicplan is almost as vivid as an in-person visit. Follow the steps below and use magicplan as the most cost-effective tool to offer and share virtual tours.
Using a 360 camera with magicplan
Connect a 360 camera to your device to use with magicplan. The pictures taken will be attached to your floor plan and automatically assembled into a virtual tour in the magicplan Cloud. The following cameras can be used with magicplan:
- Ricoh Theta V
- Ricoh Theta S
- Ricoh Theta SC
- Ricoh Theta Z1
Follow the steps below to take 360 pictures:
- Go to your project's floor or room level.
- Tap on "+ Add" , then select "Object".
- Tap on "Annotations", then tap on the "360 Panorama" icon.
- The icon will be added to the floor plan or room.
- Place the icon on the point where you want to take your 360 picture.
- Tap on the "360 Panorama" icon, then tap on the "i" next to the object name. Select "Photos & Notes" and tap the camera icon.
- Your 360 camera will be connected via Bluetooth and the 360 picture will be taken.
- Go from room to room and repeat the procedure until you have taken as many 360 pictures as you need.
Manually add 360 photos:
magicplan allows you to upload 360 photos. It doesn't matter how the photos are taken or if you download them. Follow the steps below to add 360 photos manually:
- Go to your project's floor or room level.
- Tap on "+ Add" , then select "Object".
- Tap on "Annotations", then tap on the "360 Panorama" icon.
- The icon will be added to the floor plan or room.
- Tap on the "360 Panorama" icon, then tap on the "i" next to the object name. Select "Photos & Notes" and tap the camera icon.
- Add the matching 360 photo for the room you just placed the icon in.
