How to Rotate Your Floor Plan

Easily rotate the entire floor for better alignment or presentation.

Rotating your floor plan in magicplan helps you present your layout in a way that makes the most sense for your project. Whether you're prepping for export, aligning your floor plan with a real-world reference, or just want a clearer view, here’s how to do it.

  1. Open your project and navigate to the floor level you want to adjust.
  2. On the left side of the screen, tap the “Rotate” button.
  3. A green arrow indicator will appear in the center of the screen. Drag this arrow to rotate the entire floor to your desired orientation.
  4. Once you're happy with the positioning, tap anywhere outside the arrow indicator to confirm and set the new floor plan orientation.

ℹ️ Note: If you’ve added furniture, walls, or labels, rotating the floor won’t affect their placement—it simply changes the viewing direction of the entire floor layout.
