# Export Workspace Statistics
## Export workspace statistics from the magicplan Cloud to help you manage projects and the members on your team.
Workspace statistics are viewable from the magicplan Cloud and can easily be exported as a CSV file. This export provides information about each workspace member and valuable insights, including the number of projects they have created and exported over the span of a year. This data can be especially helpful when tracking how well your team is adopting the magicplan app in their workflow.
In this article, we guide you through the steps to successfully [export workspace statistics](https://help.magicplan.app/export-workspace-statistics#export-statistics) and outline [what is included in the CSV file](https://help.magicplan.app/export-workspace-statistics#included-in-CSV-file).
#### Export Workspace Statistics
1. Log in to your account in the [magicplan Cloud](https://cloud.magicplan.app/).
2. Click "Statistics" from the left sidebar.
3. Click the "Export" button at the top of the screen. Select the year for which you want to export data.
4. Open the downloaded CSV file to view your workspace statistics.
ℹ️ **Note:**
- Only a Workspace Admin can export this file.
- You can only export statistics within an entire year; you cannot set a specific date range.
💡 **Tip:** Statistics now count everything your team has ever created, even projects that were later deleted. This change applies retroactively as of 06/22/2026, so exported numbers for past periods may appear higher than they did before. This is expected — your team's past activity hasn't changed, only how it's counted.
#### **What is Included in the CSV File**
Here is the information that is included about each Workspace member in the CSV file:
- First & Last Name
- Email
- Signup date - date member created a magicplan account
- Workspace - name of the Workspace
- Workspace join date - date member joined the Workspace
- Workspace role - member's role in the Workspace (Owner, Admin, Member)
- Subscription tier - member's subscription tier (Sketch, Report, Estimate)
- User Teams list - magicplan Teams that member is a part of
- Last active - date of last time member was active in Workspace
- Projects assigned - number of projects assigned to/created by member
- Projects exported - number of projects exported by member
- Monthly breakdown - number of projects assigned to a member by month within the year
ℹ️ **Note:** "Projects Exported" is now called "Reports Created." This field now counts every individual report a member generates, rather than simply tracking whether a project was exported at least once — giving you a clearer view of actual reporting activity.
