How Do I Restore a Previous Version of My Floor Plan?

You can restore a past version of your project directly from your Project Dashboard in the magicplan app.

If you’ve made changes to a floor plan and need to undo them, or if you need to recover a previous version of your project, magicplan can automatically save floor plan backups. Continue reading to learn how to access and restore them.

⚠️ Caution: Restoring a previous project version will overwrite your current version. Be sure you want to proceed before confirming.

How to Restore a Previous Version

  1. Open your project in the magicplan app.
  2. Tap the question mark “Help” icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the menu and tap “Floor Plan Backups."
  4. You’ll see a list of saved versions.
  5. Tap the version you’d like to restore.
  6. Confirm both pop-up messages to complete the restoration process.

ℹ️ Note: Floor plan backups are created automatically by the app based on specific conditions and may not be available for every project. If you need to restore a project and are unable to access floor plan backups, please contact our support team.
