# Does magicplan Work on My Device?
## Find out if magicplan works on your mobile device or tablet.
#### iOS
magicplan is available for devices operating iOS 15 and above. You are able to use all basic features of magicplan with any of these devices.
iOS devices that support [ARKit](https://developers.google.com/ar/devices) allow you to easily scan and capture a room using our scan feature ([learn more about this feature](https://help.magicplan.app/scan-a-room-with-the-camera-of-your-mobile-device-ios)).
If your iOS device is equipped with LiDAR, you will also be able to use our [Auto-Scan feature](https://help.magicplan.app/auto-scan-your-floor-plan). If you are using an iPhone 12 Pro or newer, or an iPad Pro, your device is equipped with LiDAR.
#### Android
magicplan is available on Android devices that are ARCore supported. To determine if your device is supported, please use [this link](https://developers.google.com/ar/devices) for a compatibility check.
At this time, Android devices are not supported for magicplan's scan features. This limitation is due to the absence of LiDAR technology, which is necessary for utilizing the Auto-Scan. However, users accessing magicplan on an Android device can still take advantage of various non-scanning methods to add rooms, such as adding a [square room](https://help.magicplan.app/create-a-room-with-the-square-room-feature), [defining corners](https://help.magicplan.app/create-a-room-with-the-define-corners-feature), or [import and draw](https://help.magicplan.app/import-and-digitalize-an-existing-floor-plan).
