Use the elevation feature to place objects attached or next to a wall in horizontal view. Here is how it works:

  1. Select the wall of a room.
  2. Tap on the “Elevation” button at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Tap on “Insert Objects” and select a furniture object like windows.
  4. Drag the furniture object in its position.
  5. To adjust dimensions of the object, drag the object with two fingers. Or tap on the dimensions and adjust manually or by connecting a laser.
  6. Use the arrows at the bottom to navigate to the next wall in the room.

You can also watch the following tutorial video. It gives you another brief explanation on how to use the elevation feature.

You need the elevation details of a particular wall to be included in your report? Done within a couple of taps:

  1. Select the wall of a room.
  2. Tap on the “Details” button at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Tap on “Display elevation in report”.
  4. Repeat for all the other walls you want to include.

In the same directory you may choose to “Load bearing wall”.

It is worth noting that the elevation feature is designed to provide an alternative view for walls only. As such, non-wall objects will not always adjust and render in elevation as they are not optimized to behave as wall objects. Custom 2D objects will display in elevation only if they have been based on an already existing wall object.
