# 2020 Design and Design Flex Integration
## Import your floor plans to Design Flex for real-life furniture & decorations of your bathroom and kitchen.
The Design suite by Cyncly allows you to create powerful cloud-based renderings and gives you the ability to bring your kitchen and bathroom spaces to life with a few clicks. With our integration, you can easily create a floor plan in magicplan and then continue working on renderings in Design.
Once you have set up your integration with Design, you can import projects directly from magicplan into your 2020 Design or Design Flex account. Follow the steps below to set up your integration.
ℹ️ **Note:** Be sure you are using the most up to date version of both Design Flex and the magicplan app to ensure the best possible experience.
**Create Your magicplan Account and Subscription**
1. Follow [these steps](https://help.magicplan.app/create-your-magicplan-account) to sign up for your magicplan Account.
2. Access to our API Key requires a [Report](https://help.magicplan.app/report-plan) or [PRO Plan](https://help.magicplan.app/magicplan-pro-subscriptions) subscription. To proceed with setting up your integration, you will need to purchase a subscription [in the app](https://help.magicplan.app/how-to-purchase-a-subscription-in-the-magicplan-app) or [in the cloud](https://help.magicplan.app/how-to-purchase-a-subscription-in-the-magicplan-cloud).
**Set up your Design Integration**
1. Sign in to the magicplan cloud and select the "API & Integrations" option in the lefthand menu.
2. In the API Key section, click the "Generate API Key" button. Copy the API Key and Customer ID.
3. In Design, click FILE \> Preferences, then select "Edit".
4. In the window that will appear, enter your magicplan account email address, the API Key, and your Customer ID. Click "OK".
5. In the Preferences window, select "Apply" \> "OK"
Your integration is now complete, and you can easily share projects from magicplan and import them into Design.
**Share a project with Design**
1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Magicplan project you wish to export to Design Flex.
2. Click the Share button located at the top right corner.
3. A new window with several export options will appear. You will need to select the first option, which will display your name or the Design Flex account name.
4. Please wait until the exporting process is complete.
5. After the project has been exported, complete the steps below.
**Import a project from the magicplan cloud to Design**
1. Sign in to your Design account.
2. Click on 'File', select 'Import' and then 'From magicplan cloud'.
3. Click on the floor plan images you want to import in the magicplan files browser.
4. Select the placement zone(s) to display on walls: inside, outside or both.
5. Click on OK and finish the export/ import process.
Your project is now in Design and ready for further editing.
