2020 Design and Design Flex Integration

Import your floor plans to Design Flex for real-life furniture & decorations of your bathroom and kitchen.

The Design suite by Cyncly allows you to create powerful cloud-based renderings and gives you the ability to bring your kitchen and bathroom spaces to life with a few clicks. With our integration, you can easily create a floor plan in magicplan and then continue working on renderings in Design.

Once you have set up your integration with Design, you can import projects directly from magicplan into your 2020 Design or Design Flex account. Follow the steps below to set up your integration.

ℹ️ Note: Be sure you are using the most up to date version of both Design Flex and the magicplan app to ensure the best possible experience.

Create Your magicplan Account and Subscription

  1. Follow these steps to sign up for your magicplan Account.
  2. Access to our API Key requires a Report or Pro Plan subscription. To proceed with setting up your integration, you will need to purchase a subscription in the app or in the cloud.

Set up your Design Integration

  1. Sign in to the magicplan cloud and select the "API & Integrations" option in the lefthand menu.
  2. In the API Key section, click the "Generate API Key" button. Copy the API Key and Customer ID. 
  3. In Design, click FILE > Preferences, then select "Edit".
  4. In the window that will appear, enter your magicplan account email address, the API Key, and your Customer ID. Click "OK".
  5. In the Preferences window, select "Apply" > "OK"

Your integration is now complete, and you can easily import projects from magicplan into Design.

Import a project from the magicplan cloud to Design

  1. Sign in to your Design account. 
  2. Click on 'File', select 'Import' and then 'From magicplan cloud'.  
  3. Click on the floor plan images you want to import in the magicplan files browser.  
  4. Select the placement zone(s) to display on walls: inside, outside or both.
  5. Click on OK and finish the export/ import process. 

Your project is now in Design and ready for further editing.
